"The people I worked with and atmosphere made my 8.5 years at RCN very enjoyable, but would have preferred more opportunities there"

"The managers and co-workers were very knowledgable and pleasant to work with and I learned quite a bit in my 8.5 years there"

"There was not much room for job growth. I couldn't see myself moving up into management anytime soon"

"I think overall, management did a good job."

"An excellent way to identify with what developers are looking for and the places they have come from."
What do you like about working at Cyrious Software?
"I liked working at Cyrious Software because they had an excellent group of developers that would have proven to be an excellent growth opportunity for myself. It would have also been an excellent chance for me to spread my knowledge of .NET as they were mostly DelphI programmers."
What don't you like about working at Cyrious Software?
"I could not find any cons of working at Cyrious Software."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The suggestion that I have for management is not to hire anyone until you double check your budget to ensure that you can afford them."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"no I don't. I'm not to familiar with there interview process. I had one interview."
What don't you like about working at Spectrum?
"In my experience. There was a lack of innovation. All the services are outsourced to the manufactures of the converter boxes."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest bringing more software engineers and using their talents to stay on the cutting edge of technology."

"Great group of people to work with."

"They seek people who can fit into their culture. You can always be taught the tech skills, but not personality."

"The career advancement. There wasn't much room for it in my department."

"Sonitrol was a great place to work. It was sold to another company so I am not sure how it is now."
What do you like about working at Sonitrol?
"The job was very flexible with when you worked your hours and it was a nice drive from my home. There was tons of work to be done, so I was never bored."

"I do not have any complaints."

"The management team that I worked with is no longer there. I have no suggestions for their current managers."

"Good career advancement model, nice colleagues, good company culture, good training plan, all tasks are project-based, travelling."

"Salary."

"At CDPHP I learned excellent managerial skills and extended my skill set in application development and design"

"Bring lots of knowledge to the interview."

"Lock of ability to implement latest technological tools, such as LINQ, Ajax and etc."

"Never manage by the book. Books are only useful to gather general idea. Each business is different and whatever worked for one company will not necessarily work for the other."
