"Employed by the company for 4 years. The company is plagued with nepotism and micro management. You're presented with a smoke and mirrors show of parties and beers in the office after work known as "beer thirty" to cover up the fact that you'll never move up, you'll never be fairly compensated, and the constant walk on egg shells to make sure you don't step on the wrong person's toes leading to sudden termination. The vast majority of employees are family members or friends of family members. Family members and friends of family are given positions and promotions regardless of experience or success over anyone else first. Management is kept in their position regardless of performance while their employees are expected to pick up the slack. You only hear from the HR dept when open enrollment season arrives to tell you who the new insurance provider is (which happens every year), or when you are being terminated without any warning or chance to defend yourself. As a matter of fact, HR is only staffed 4 out of 5 business days. In some cases, Management across departments do not agree on many aspects of a project you may be working on. One supervisor may tell you you're doing a great job, then moments later you can be told you are performing poorly by another supervisor or member of management. The CEO is brilliant, but has one foot out of the door and only wants to be involved in the new and exciting things going on. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this employer. Unless you're a part of the family."

"Almost everyone working there is related, and the staff that has been there forever will dig their heels in against any changes in order to protect their own positions as much as they can. With no room for upward mobility, the equipment is hacked together, but they aren't interested in making it any better. If you put your head down and become a yes-man who drinks beer with the team after work, you'll have a job forever."
