"I worked Anthropologie since I was intern as a display for about 6 months. I learned a lot of skills from intern and started to decide as a dream job. After worked internship, I started work as a sale associates for about 5 months. And then I got promotion to become display coordinator."

What do you like about working at Anthropologie?

"There were no sales quotas and great coworkers creating a delightful work environment. I had creative visual opportunities working on display projects."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"They are definitely looking for someone who fits the mold. Customer care is of the utmost importance."

What don't you like about working at Anthropologie?

"Like most retail positions requiring late nights and weekends, there was no work/life balance. My low salary made this a challenge."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would give upper management better hours with MIT's and supervisors working evenings and weekends."

"The creative environment and the support I receive from the staff is very fulfilling."

"Allow your creativity and passion to be recognized. Let them know that you can bring something special to the company."

"It is a bit difficult to move up the ladder."

"Give the customers a voice in the creative aspect of the stores visual merchandising."

"I liked everything about working at Anthropologie. I enjoyed working with the other employees, the customers were great, the management was great - no complaints!"

"Unfortunately, they were not able to give me enough hours."

"They did a great job while I was employed."

"I loved both my fellow sales associates and some of the lower management. They were incredibly sweet as I made some great friendships. The discount was AMAZING! Anthropologie's creative atmosphere is fun environment."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Get a real HR department. Seriously."

What don't you like about working at Anthropologie?

"The higher level of management is comparable to those sorority nightmares you see on TV movies or on the ABC Family channel. They are catty, rude, and talk about the other sales associates behind their back. They only promoted the people they liked and not the people who earned it. Also, I was promised a certain pay rate and found out I was not getting it. It was an uphill battle just to be compensated."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop acting like children. If you want a happy family, don't talk about others behind their back. Be fair and balanced."

"Really fun product mixed with an amazingly creative atmosphere"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"This seems to be a company who loves someone with an strong merchandising background, good operational common sense and an absolute love of hard work. They are the kind that may make you a memory to your friends and family. In your interview bring with a strong sense of a merchandising story to tell, a really store specific outfit, and a sense of who you are as a manager. If you are looking for a career and not just a job, don't be afraid to ask difficult questions! Your questions should be difficult enough that turnover at the full time level. Questions like What are the companies real expectations, What is involved in coaching or How much importance does Anthropologie place on training are the type of questions that will guide you into a position.All questions I wished I'd asked...."

What don't you like about working at Anthropologie?

"The smug sorority atmosphere created uncoachable staff and the sense that I was the only one in the building who could be held accountable for anything. For me it created a total lack of work/life balance."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't hire a change agent, then be scared to implement change."
