"I've worked at Ancestry.com since June 2018 and have enjoyed my experience learning about the company, its culture, and the innovative products they are creating. Ancestry has an amazing employee culture of transparency, accountability, and work-life balance that creates a competitive, yet welcoming environment for aspiring professionals. Ancestry has done a decent job at pivoting the company strategy to adjust to market trends, including the declining DNA kit business. The current downside to working at Ancestry.com is limited growth opportunities within the project/program management and business operations organization."
"It was a great company with good work-life balance. My manager was good and my team was very supportive in my development."
"Excellent company. Tough to work in a remote office - limited growth."
"I am currently working at Ancestry. The company has good work culture, benefits and work-life balance. However, the leadership is not very strong. They do not have a strong sense of direction towards company's future."

"Worked at Ancestry since late 2010. It was like family and I was passionate about the product and culture."
"Ancestry has very good work culture , I had very good experience especially with my team and manager. How ever higher management failed in setting realistic goals and no proper planning recuruting."
"Amazing company to explore and learn new technologies."
"Overall a good environment to work in enjoyed the team I was with and the work being done. Management seems to be stuck in the past so much red tape to get anything done. Spending so much in areas that are covered by other systems, and not providing enough to current technologies to make systems run smooth. Tech Managers should look at promoting and training within. Always very rushed to get a new platform up and running, just to let it fall by the wayside and not give enough resource to improving/stabilizing capable current tech"
"Good company but lacks an uplifting culture."
"Loved working for Ancestry.com"
