4.3I've worked at Ancestry.com since June 2018 and have enjoyed my experience learning about the company, its culture, and the innovative products they are creating. Ancestry has an amazing employee culture of transparency, accountability, and work-life balance that creates a competitive, yet welcoming environment for aspiring professionals. Ancestry has done a decent job at pivoting the company strategy to adjust to market trends, including the declining DNA kit business. The current downside to working at Ancestry.com is limited growth opportunities within the project/program management and business operations organization.
3.8Overall a good environment to work in enjoyed the team I was with and the work being done. Management seems to be stuck in the past so much red tape to get anything done. Spending so much in areas that are covered by other systems, and not providing enough to current technologies to make systems run smooth. Tech Managers should look at promoting and training within. Always very rushed to get a new platform up and running, just to let it fall by the wayside and not give enough resource to improving/stabilizing capable current tech
