"Amcat was awesome and the staff is the best. They pay on time and provide help as needed. Those adjusters that said the staff didn't train them need to rethink. The adjuster should get their own training to be successful on the storm. An adjuster should not wait until deployed to a storm to decide to learn how to adjust. I adjusted for amcat on the referred storm, and no adjuster got 100 claims to start.I am experienced . I think Amcat is awesome and I would work for them anytime."

"Extremely frustrating. This was years ago. Hopefully things are better now."

What do you like about working at Amcat Adjusting Services?

"They me paid on time and fairly. Management was professional."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you have experience then ok. If you don't then wait until you have some."

What don't you like about working at Amcat Adjusting Services?

"New adjusters forget it. Almost zero help and very few claims given to new adjusters. Experienced adjusters were given 100 plus claims at a time while new adjusters were given one or two claims at a time, barely enough to cover their expenses. Management highly resistant to answering new adjuster questions much less being willing to help train them."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Give new adjusters an amount of claims to make it worth their wile. Don't scoff at helping to train new adjusters. Treat every new adjuster question as important and try your best to answer the question. If you want to hire a new adjuster be willing to help train them."

"Very substandard and unprofessional."

What do you like about working at Amcat Adjusting Services?

"I did not find any of the process one that I would try again unless my children were starving."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you are very experienced and need the money very badly, go ahead. If you are new to the industry, find another source that can enhance your training and give you the technical support and claims handling guidance needed to be successful."

What don't you like about working at Amcat Adjusting Services?

"Amcat was slow paying commisions and their management, or quality control program is at best a bad joke. They have tried to train some old retirees that have no claims experience to review files. The carriers are calling adjusters wanting files closed and they are stalled in the review process by the quality control ignorance."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"You need to hire some storm managers that have experience, at least as much as I have, if they are going to be placed in the position. I had to lend my talents to the location manager while I was trying to get my own work completed. Very unprofessional."
