"Basically as a new hire, you are given no instruction, no training, you have to bring in your own computer and printer, and you are given no leads or direction, yet they demand sales. The leads that are generated through the website all go to the same person, and there is virtually no appreciation of the efforts and time that we put in. If there was any feedback at all, it was to threaten with firing us, and that they don't need the sales people anyway attitude."
"Working for Alchemy is honorable work but not very fulfilling. Video training for the meat packing industry can become quite boring and tedious. Some of the people that I had worked with at Alchemy Interactive moved on to Alchemy Systems but many of the old crew were eventually weeded out, including myself. The power structure is weighted very heavily toward a typical good ole boy network. Everyone was very friendly but the people that created to successful look and feel could never move up."
"Alchemy Systems was a fun place to work with regard to the variety and complexity of the positions, but as with many startups, there were challenges complicated by factors that should have remained external to the company."
