"Yes, Alcatel was a very good company to work for. A leader in manufacture of underwater fiber optic cable."

"Position will be filled with experienced person but he/she need to be trained as well."

"A was working on a dirty and hazardous job. The hours that I had were not appropriated for family living style."

"Leadership, organization, open to constructive suggestions, good attitude, communication, schedule, goals, safety, well training employees."

What don't you like about working at Alcatel-Lucent?

"Nothing, the management, most of the upper management have no idea how to make money or build and run a business, it is just a good old boy and girl network now, full of foreigners that have come over on green cards and now making their own good old boy network."

"Bell Labs is not the same as it used to be wheen it was AT&T."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Technicians who go and get their degrees or certification should be paid for their education and experience, and not be said to make too much, so lets outsource to Mexico for cheap labor."
