"They would not be interviewing for a job...the company has been sold and no longer is in the pharmaceutical business"

"I no longer work there but when I did there was nothing I did not like about working there"

"Management did a very good job and I really do not have any suggestions for them"

"AkzoNobel allowed me to explore a variety of positions and combine it with an international experience. I got to work with some great people across the world."

"Understand that safety is extremely important. the company likes to do things the right way."

What don't you like about working at AkzoNobel?

"AkzoNobel is a great place if you know what you want. The career development onus is on you. Towards the end there was a disconnect between my new boss (I had 6 bosses in 6 years) and I wish we both handled things differently"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Direct supervisors should be able to communicate the impact of their subordinates work on company values and bottom line. what are the gaols and how are we going to help achieve it. AkzoNobel is decentralized and therefore it reinvents the wheel quite a bit due to a lack of communication. Divisions and business units repeatedly do the game work without knowing that it has already been done."

What do you like about working at AkzoNobel?

"Fast paced working environment. I enjoyed working with the customers and aiding them with their needs. I liked the combination of working with international as well as domestic."

"That some of the employees do not know what is going on, and as result we would lose market share"

"A culture of corruption, personal favors, incompetence and whatever is good in saying yes sir or madam instead of making sure whatever is good for the company comes first."

"Do not take the job unless you have a long term contract. You may find yourself out of work sooner than later."

What don't you like about working at AkzoNobel?

"Non I thought they needed me for my experience my innovation and management experience and style. it appeared to me in a very short time that all the above comes Last to blessing the culture of corruption and yes Sir mentality"

"When you hire People to do the job, allow them to create and change status, specially when they relay care about there work and productivity, stop the common practice of scaring the fresh idea to solve chronic problem because it is not to introduce something deferent than what the long lasting senior managers thinking."

"continuation of working with architects, engineers, interior designers in the Florida markets."

"the shortness of the experience. I dI not expect them to take the RIF they did because they should have closed the non-profitable stores rather than reduce their field sales and marketing staff as they did. short sighted strategy to have an arch rep report directly to a regional manager rather than being a corporate position as with PPG."

"recover profitability as oon as possible and be positioned to regain lost market share with proper effots at the commercial segments."

"The Collision Industry has gone through some major changes in the last few years. the market place continues to flood, while the business itself is shrinking. Being a foreign company, their market share was alway an obstacle."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I am a team player. I would encourage Regional Managers, and Sales Directors to listen to what Field Agents are experiencing. Develope action plans that coincide with how the market is demanding. Only through proper fact finding and real knowledge of the client demands, can action plans and market strategies truly succeed."
