"I have worked for AECOM for the past 3 years and they are an awesome company to work with."
"The environment is good. The company needs a more thorough training program, and listen to those with training leadership experience to increase new employee knowledge in an effective manner. This is a contractor job, and with that the regulations that govern the CTTR are dependent on the contract winner. Tis creates an inconsistent environment as far as regulations are concerned and can cause severe confusion."
"This company is a great company to work for. The only reason I’m no longer with them is that the contract ended and the government wouldn’t extend it any longer."
"AECOM is a great company to work for and grow as an individual. I would recommend this company to anyone that applies."
"Very good company, worldwide coverage."
"great place to work and to have the opportunity to travel"
"AEOMC is good employer. Good environment to work and variety of different discipline in house"
"Very Good Company to work for strong leadership"
"I'm looking to apply for this job and am not looking to rate my previous employers."
"A large organization, I can only comment on the Power & Energy group. When senior management admits to throwing you to the wolves and not providing the needed support then blames you for why the client is unhappy it should be no surprise why AECOM's top talent are leaving this organization."
"Nothing to add about AECOM"
"My name is Gene Casstevens. I have over 25 years of experience in construction, from rolls as superintendent, project manager, owners rep and licensed contractor (California licenses B, C-10 and C-7 all active). I am currently working on my second AECOM project in Los Angeles. I was actually hired as a project manager for the CIRCA towers we finished when another GC abandoned the project. The project needed more hands-on direction than project management so I took on the “temporary” roll of superintendent. And it stuck, so I am currently a super on the Pendry Hotel in West Hollywood, a Montage hotel property. When this wraps up, my next opportunities with AECOM would be extended stays out of state. I would prefer to stay working in California and don't mind California location work outside Los Angeles. You can see by my resume and project examples that I am well qualified as both PM and superintendent. My business and architectural background lends well to the PM side and work in the field. I have experience from ground up, to TI's and retail build-outs, both in the field and as PM. One of my most recent (and personally gratifying) projects, ROWDTLA, was the challenge of bringing three 90 to 100 year old food processing, warehouse and packaging buildings up to current building and fire codes, pressurization with new exit stairwells etc. to develop a more modern open outdoor entertainment and retail environment. The re-purposing of the project was a welcome challenge, and as a result, our first tenant was the 30,000 sq ft Adidas design lab on the sixth floor of a 92 year old building. Including installing an elevator capable of carrying +7' tall star athlete passengers. Let me know where you think I would fit. I am ready to make a change before I am faced with choosing a reassignment. I can be reached by phone most days after 3pm when site activity starts quieting down. Thank you, Gene Casstevens 213-364-8558"
"I have been with AECOM two years and love the work but not the atmosphere. The company is employee supportive but not family-friendly. If assigned out of area and refuse you are let go, or put on imposed hiatus. My next upcoming options are out of state and prefer to work in California"
