"Find a job elsewhere. Low pay, bad shift hours, employer is stringent about company dishonest policies and will enforce them at the slightest opportunity."

What don't you like about working at Ace Hardware?

"They steal break time and lunch time from their employees. Underpay employees $10 hr and create a hostile work environment by making employees compete for good stock just to maintain company standard requirements. Not finding out until 5 am that morning that you're working overtime that day. No heat, no air conditioning, and a dangerous heavy work environment. All around a sweat shop job."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Your operation is not efficient. Too many mistakes on bad stock tickets. Power HR personnel,. Power supervisor. Facility needs more restrooms. Stop lying to new hires about job requirements."

"Just because the name badge has manager on it does not mean that you do not consider the ideas of the team working under you."

"Get to know your people. They are the most important asset that you have."

"To give their employees personal improvement plans (PIP's) to better improve both the store and themselves."

"Yes be honest and understand it's a small family owned company so don't expect too much."

"You need to be a team player and be flexible with expectations in job asignments to be successful with this company."

"It was not particularly demanding. It was mostly something to do during my relocation to Florida."

"They do a good job, especially with training employees. I would not suggest changing much in the way of making changes to their management philosophy for that industry."
