"I left AQUENT on my own terms at the end of Oct/09 due to $20,000 of water damage to my condo."
What do you like about working at Aquent?
"Generating new business with C-Level Executives at Fortune 100 & 500 companies, and forming trusting relationships with them. I was my own boss and able to run my own desk with little supervision from Upper Management. I also enjoyed mentoring/training the Agents so they could start getting in front of clients as well."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Expect there to be change from upper management on a weekly basis, and they are constantly laying off and then hiring."
What don't you like about working at Aquent?
"There were a lot of promises made to me during the interview process that never came to fruition. Also, the other Account Director never showed up to work so I was the only AD responsible for bringing in new business/revenue for the entire Atlanta office."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be honest and upfront to the people you are interviewing, and don't suger coat things."

"I don't know where you the Astrodome but I enjoyed my career at Sheraton but my last move was supposed to be to Phildelphia and ended up In New York, New York."

What do you like about working at Buchanan & Associates?
"The paychecks don't bounce when you cash them."

"The Senior management runs on a whim.Jim Buchanan is a great person, but he has allowed the company to get away from its original philosophy of a Technology company in the People business that was concerned with providing excellent value to its customers and Employees. To a mediocre service organization that treats its customers and employees as just a commodity. They provide nothing that sets them apart from any other medium size consulting organization."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Though sometimes it is hard to swim upstream go back to what set this company apart from the rest. Providing excellent service and value from employees that are secure and happy and really feel like the count for something other than just margin to the bottom line. Sally Dixon is a great salesperson but lacks the management skill-set to properly run an organization."

"Be prepared to address your ability to be a strategic thinker and to multi-task. Creating multicultural modals is valuable."

"Not enough new business development. Costumer service needs improvement in the area of relationship building within the senior management of the agency."

"Hire a devoted new business development executive. More senior management interaction with clients."
