"I was a part of the help desk and operations desk. Working for their IT Director was very difficult and stressful. She was not very responsive to others ideas, unless they were her own or she took them from you. She was not a great communicator to her team or staff."

"I think you need study more about the company history."

What don't you like about working at Accor?

"When you need an approval of specification software, maybe you need waiting more than necessary"

"to keep people motivated. Help everybody making meetings. . ."

"The PM I worked for was completely results-oriented, and I loved that kind of mindset."

"I loved the training that I received and that I did for the company. Myself and three other managers developed and trained a customer service program for hotel employees and it went company wide on-line and with classroom training."

"This company was trying very hard to change a very mixed reputation by improving the quality of managers they hired, by improving the product and through improved customer service. To show interest in these areas would benefit someone a great deal."

What don't you like about working at Accor?

"A lot of the managers in the DFW area have been laid off or terminated due to their salary and less experienced managers have replaced them at considerably lower salaries. These managers that have been replaced had worked very hard with proven results for the company and were extremely loyal."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"In my opinion there are a few Area Managers who are by their own words very unhappy with the company and should no longer work for a company that has made them so bitter and evil."

"Be customer oriented...it's a customer oriented business and if you're not about the customer you wont fit in"

"a few of the management decisions"

"trust the people you hire to do what you hired them for"

"I will admit, I should have moved with them when I had the opportunity"

"They recognize talent when an employee is putting forth the effort. This really makes an employee not only feel proud but it also motivates you. Accor accomplishes this."

"Be honest"

"The upper management changes too frequently."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Strengthen upper management in North America. Maybe it would be a good idea to have only the president of North America at upper management meetings in Paris and hold he/she responsible for everyone else below that level."
