In my opinion there are a few Area Managers who are by their own words very unhappy with the company and should no longer work for a company that has made them so bitter and evil.

Strengthen upper management in North America. Maybe it would be a good idea to have only the president of North America at upper management meetings in Paris and hold he/she responsible for everyone else below that level.

1.5 I was a part of the help desk and operations desk. Working for their IT Director was very difficult and stressful. She was not very responsive to others ideas, unless they were her own or she took them from you. She was not a great communicator to her team or staff.

Accor is an international hotel operator based in Paris, France. The company manages 3,500 hotels in 92 countries, including United Kingdom, China, Dominican Republic, Australia, Brazil and dozens of other countries on every continent except Antarctica. Its hotel brands include Sofitel, Novotel, Adagio, ibis and MGallery.

The company was created in 1967 by Gérard Pélisson and Paul Dubrule as SIEH hotel group. SIEH's first property was an American-styled Novotel property in Lille, France. It created the Ibis hotel line in 1974 and followed it with the acquisition of many hotel companies and an international restaurant voucher company. As a result of its growth and diversification, the company name changed to Accor in 1983.
