I was working for another provider and all they handed me was fliers and no direction as to where to go. I get a bonus every time I get a parent to sign up for free tutoring."

What do you like about working at The Academic Advantage?

"I truly enjoy tutoring. This will now be two years of working for this company; and helping out students that are really struggling in school; this is greater than anything so far in my life. I love doing this, and I thank God for giving me the gift of helping others. I hope I can continue for the upcoming school year."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Continue improving on communication skills. Also, more samples of what you are looking for in terms of paperwork. I think I'm submitting something correctly but in the end I almost always do it wrong."

What don't you like about working at The Academic Advantage?

"I didnt like the fact that at the beginning my fingerprints were delayed. The first time they told me that my fingerprints were not read correctly, and the second time they said that it was out of their control and they were just waiting for the prints to come back. I know it wasnt the companys fault but they should at least have the decency to inform their employee of the delay."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Better communication. It has definitely improved during my time with the company."
