"Fast pace, quick learning experience!"

What do you like about working at The Academic Advantage?

"I worked for this company for years as a tutor, and at times I would get frustrated because they would take a day or so to respond to my voicemail. I now work in the office and it all makes sense to me! As the rep that is responding to tutors and parents, answering questions and helping them through the tutoring process, now I understand the work that it takes to do it all. The office environment is friendly and professional!"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you are coming in as a tutor, pay attention at your orientation and take notes. If you are coming into the office to work, be confident and be ready to learn quickly."

What don't you like about working at The Academic Advantage?

"I don't like that tutors do not understand the the importance and difference they are making in these children's lives. I try to help them, but they are constantly breaking policies, its annoying!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I understand there is a lot of work to do and this job is fast pace, but it would be nice to give us more time to get our work done."

"Great experience working with the students, challenging paperwork, but high pay!"

"Pay attention and take notes on the training, also ask questions if you do not understand any of the paperwork or policies."

What don't you like about working at The Academic Advantage?

"The paperwork could be a little hard to understand, but they try to explain it and give you the support you need. Also, sometimes the parents cancel session last minute, which complicates your schedule."

"The hours are flexible and the work is steady. I can work more or less depending on my availability. I tutor kids in my area and the families are very welcoming."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
