The site is fast paced and production driven, with important deadlines fueling manufacturing of medical diagnostic devices which boast lateral flow and molecular technology. The site employs upwards of 250 employees in a variety of roles including R&D, quality, operations, and clinical and regulatory affairs."

This was my second tour at the facility having served in an identical role before St. Jude was acquired by Abbott. I found that the organization is still struggling to overcome many of the entrenched weaknesses that resulted in the FDA Warning Letter. Their processes could and should be better integrated and their procedures, likewise better codified. Additionally, a pervasive culture of lax compliance with regulatory requirements and internal directives would benefit from more effective change agents."
