But one of the most unique and sustainable forms of differentiation is how sellers facilitate their customers' buying processes. Customers face a very complex world. The decisions they have to make are sometimes difficult, internal, time, and other pressures add to their challenges. Traditionally, sales doesn't help very much, focusing on their product, service, company and how wonderful they are, but not on the customers' circumstances, challenges, goals. The sales person that creates value through the buying process, helping facilitate the process, helping the customer more effectively achieve their goals can create one of the most unique and sustainable forms of differentiation imaginable."
