"I've worked for Hewlett-Packard for almost a year and my favorite about the company is the willingness of everyone to help each other out with the different issues and the kindness of all the management to work with all of the employees' schedules and requests. With a company this big, it is easy to become dry and uninterested in everyday tasks and conversations, but this company has done a great job of implementing workplace activities that keep all the employees involved."

"I've worked for Hewlett-Packard, later HPE, in Germany from 2012 to 2016. Big tech company with many opportunities. However, management was inefficient and processes were complicated. I spent most of the time filling out internal forms for travel approvals - I worked as a consultant. However, HP provided a low-pressure environment, which made many of the employees very happy."

"I started working for Hewlett Packard in 2010 and held my position for almost five years, but it was a grueling five years. We changed CEO three times and my direct manager was changed four times, so it was very unstable. I was fortunate to survive two mass layoffs, but the third one finally got me; because Meg Whitman decided to lay off 50,000 employees and split HP into two entities. In reality, I LOVED my job and I LOVED my experience at HP; because I learned SO MUCH as I had to do the job of others as they left or were pushed out. It is unfortunate that I had to leave but the irony is that they laid me off along with my manager and everyone else as they off-shored our work to India. It is a classic repeat of what went down at eBay under Meg Whitman, so pay attention to history because it all starts at the top."

"HP is not a great place to be right now. Too many transitions and layoffs. The people there are amazing. The management and how they treat people is sub par."

"I have worked for 8 months for Hewlett Packard. Due to a down sizing of the company, I was one of the employees that was let go. However, I did learn a lot working for them in the short time I was there from their enrollment and their billing system, work with the developers on defects and changes to the system prior to going to production."

"On October 6, 2014, Hewlett-Packard announced plans to split the PC and printers business from its enterprise products and services business. The split is expected to close by October 2015 and will result in two publicly traded companies: Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and HP, Inc. I worked for HP for 15 years and needless to say, this company is definitely going through some changes right now."
