"It was a great company to work for. They took the time to teach me many different aspects of the Human Resources department as well as different aspects of the company and the business world. I was able to create a carpool program for employees. They gave me freedom to make decisions and allowed me to develop my own spreadsheets and information databases. I would recommend this internship to any one that wants to learn."

I have enjoyed the freedom to initiate best practices as it relates to the company's obligations towards its employees. I have enjoyed creating good working relationships between staff and management. I really enjoy coaching management and conducting training on how to be a more effective and better manager. I like being the go to person in HR. I like being busy every day so that at the end of the day I am surprised that it is already time to go home."

Historically, people stay in these positions until they retire. So, there is no room for movement up. Also the pay is below the average wage for this type of position."
