"Worked at Zynga gaming network for about four years with some of the best artists, game designers, general managers and developers. Learned a lot about creating art for social gaming and customer relationships. Picked up several technical, 2D art and UI artist skills working at Zynga Gaming Network. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to learn about social gaming and to meet some of the most enthusiastic people in the social gaming industry."
"Great company. Would recommend this company to any UI artist or game artist who is interested in what art is needed in social gaming."
"great company with great perks"
"Zynga is a good company. But I left it for family."
"Great environment and co-workers"
"Zynga is a very fun place to work, but the work done sometimes isn't the most fun."
"I started at Zynga in May of 2011 where I art directed their cooking game, Chefville. It was a great learning experience because I got to work with a lot of talented people with lots of great ideas. There were a lot of great games coming out from the company for the Facebook platform. Zynga was the leader of social games with its line up of popular titles like Farmville, Cityville, Chefville, etc."
"The SF art director wasn't the most approachable individual but the team was a dream to work with.Compensation is very competitive and it seems that they do appreciate your time spent. Work/like balance isn't the greatest. It works well if you're not married or have kids. Overall, I recommend it."
"The early days were fantastic. Pay was strong, career advancement was great, perks were better than 99% of companies out there. Unfortunately the company is now in its downswing and has been sinking for some time.Work life balance is difficult in a San Francisco based game studio. Do everything in your power to get onto a profitable game team for your job security. Those that find themselves on unproven projects or in remote studios are at high risk for layoffs and will not get as much pay."
"It was a great learning experience."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

What don't you like about working at Zynga?
"It seemed very cutthroat among employees and at some point it limited the employer in actuallyl being more productive."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"To listen to suggestions to help improve the product and to be realistic with the delivery time."
"I have been working in Zynga since 2018 in the IT department. I am very happy with my team and company. The reason I want to move to another company I want to learn new technical systems and share my customer focus experience with new people. I don,t see any new openings or promises form my upper management for any pieces of training or promotions."
"Growth is not according to work we have done. Lot of politics. Growth is only for people who work less and talk more."
"I worked Quality Assurance for one year for Zynga and it was a great place to work. They clearly care very much about their employees. Some of the benefits include catered lunches and dinners, theme parties every Friday, and excellent benefits. My only complaint about my time spent at Zynga is that my pay was too low for the amount and quality of work I provided."
"Highly talented group of employees, lots of room for growth, fun and collaborative environment."
