"The company used to be debt free, now they owe so much money, they almost did not survive the downturn, they had to sell most of their property and their rolling stock."

"It was decent pay."

"Don't. Word has it they outsourced lots of clerical functions overseas, they had the unions accept wage cuts, and you're not likely to work there long before it goes under at this point. I heard it was better before YRC took over."

What don't you like about working at YRC Worldwide?

"Extremely low morale, lack of respect abounded, and camaderie was sporadic at best, nonexistent at worst."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Your workers are not drones."

"If you need a job, okay. Financial analyst say it is only a matter of time but bankruptcy is certainly in the future for this company."

"Lack of support from facility and corporate management until it is too late."

"You are extremely too slow and fail miserably at foreseeing trends and trying to meet customer needs. Overland Park,KS does not have all the answers."

"The people and the challenge of the industry."

"Don't bother...they will most likely find themselves out of business by Q2 in 2010...stock is trading at all time lows and the outlook is grim at best."

"The core competencies of the senior management. The old way verses the new way of business is one of the main reasons why this company is on the edge of bankruptcy."

"Learn from past mistakes, work with the employees, and take personal criticisms for what they are worth...some are good, while other comments have little or no merit."

"Roadway was a very professional company before the merger with Yellow. They were very professional and encouraged career development."

"Good luck, YRCW will be bankrupt by second quarter of next year. They are laying off employees not hiring new ones."

"The hours were very long and hard but it was worth it."

"Go back to being Roadway Express and focus on customers again."

"Very little on site involvement, very few conference calls or visits. Provided top level service for my customers nationwide, good corporate support when you called."

"Know something about LTL sales and have a firm commitment on providing service on the IB and OB side of the business."

"I was performing two full time jobs but was only paid for one, even though there had been two managers in the past and the business continued to grow each year."

"Don't leave your managers in the dark -- the sale to Reddaway was a shock to many employees. If you ask for something extra and have no plans to change the status quo, be honest and pay the manager more money."

"Work hard if you want to be fulltime employee r you could remain a casual ."

"Every day was a new challange! It was a fast pace arena! If you didnt get out and engauge! the work force you wound not survive. I loved the day to day challange."

"Be strong in your leadership style, you will be working with a union group! communication is the key!"

"Engauge and educate the work force on the day to day operations, train them to lead in thier area of responceability"
