"Yorktel was an okay company to work for. There is a wide disparity in departments and management and it is always in motion. Some departments are well run while others not so much. Some managers excel while others create problems for everyone around them. Whatever your boss is now: in a few years it will be someone or something else anyways."

"Our office/my immediate coworkers were a tight-knit team, so that was good."

"No, I would just suggest that they know what to expect."

What don't you like about working at Yorktel?

"The fact that it was a contract-to-hire position, it was difficult to get time off, because, as some jobs now-a-days, they had to find somebody to replace you when you took time off. Also, because it was contract, we didn't get many of the holidays/days off that most other workers did."

"Be willing to do whatever you ask of your workers."

"management needs to provide better level of NOC ops staffing to accomodate needs of managed customers"

What don't you like about working at Yorktel?

"The failure to follow up on promises to provide up to date training and certifications. The increase in responsibility and title without the increase in salary. The appeasement of clients WAY over-superceeding any consideration for the way it may adversely affect the onsite staff."

"The company was a great place to work for until they aquired a second company and began to take themselves way to serious for semingly no gain."
