What do you like about working at Yellow Cab?

"It used to be fun. I traded in my Chevy for a Cadillac and all of the passengers enjoyed it and said it was a great car. I'm a musician and I enjoyed songs about taxI and TV movies about this as well."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I was suprised how fast that I was hired at this company. They gave me an entire taxI to take home to work with, where others have given me a broom or something measly. Be conservative about obeying traffiic laws and be aware that there is a lot of competition for every call."

What don't you like about working at Yellow Cab?

"There aren't any calls - they have new equipment and I couldn't make sense of it. I can't imagine making enought money to pay for my school loan doing this. I felt that CABCO and OCTAP are afraid to give preferential treatment to any driver. I had a nice car for going to the Ritz and they rubbed it out."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They are overpriced. They asked me for over $500.00/wk for the rental of their taxi. When I last drove their taxI in 2001, I felt they ought to give me a taxI or a place to live in order for my business to be profitable."

"Not to hire so many cab drivers when business is slow."
