"It is exciting there. Basically we made toys for adults. It helps you stay involved and passionate about your job if you can enjoy what you are working on."

"Yamaha is a great opportunity to get into. If you put in the effort and show interest in moving up in the company, you will be given a chanse. However you will be frustrated with the pay rate and the moral/work ethic of your coworkers."

What don't you like about working at Yamaha?

"THe Japanese management style is great, but the parent company realy restricts our creativity."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management is good. The workload is unfairly shifted to those who are productive, to the point that the productive people get burnt out and loose passion, while the there for a paycheck workers show up late and leave early while getting paid the same. The payscale for the amount of work and resposibility forces the good engineers to look for other opportunities where they will feel appreciated and fairly compensated."
