Wynn Las Vegas is a resort and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. Opening in 2005 on the former site of the Desert Inn, the resort boats 45 stories with 2,716 rooms, standing 614 feet tall. Developed by Steve Wynn, Wynn Las Vegas serves as the flagship property of Wynn Resorts Unlimited, covers 215 acres and is valued at $2.7 billion.
In 2006, Wynn constructed a second tower called Encore, which is valued at $2.3 billion. Encore and Wynn Las Vegas combined bring the resort's total number of rooms to 4,750.
Wynn Las Vegas has been recognized as one of the world's top hotels, having earned five diamond ratings from AAA, as well as five star rankings from Mobil, Forbes, and Michelin. Amenities include numerous couture boutiques; the Wynn Golf and Country Club (featuring the only golf course of the Strip); and the Tower Suites, which feature private entrances and pools, as well as personal Rolls-Royce house cars and chauffeurs.
