"Outline you commission structure upfront and make sure that your work gets the proper credit and is not bundled with the work of the entire IT staff."
What don't you like about working at WSI TIME?
"The amount of work that we are tasked with in not congruent with the compensation. Management does not consult with us in the initial contract negotiation, even though our work is the defining characteristic of the initiative. Additionally, my commission is tied to the overall profitability of each contract, of which I have absolutely no discretion over."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Consult with the IT staff prior to engaging in a large scale IT project with a corporate client to ensure the timelines, costs, feasibility, etc."
