"Worley is an acquisition and merger of Worley Parsons and Jacobs Engineering ECR."
"Although my employment with the company was brief due to lack of work and COVID pandemic, I enjoyed their working for them for their high ethics and organization."
"I have worked at Worley for one year. My colleagues there are bright engineers that are a joy to work with. I would recommend this workplace for anybody, especially young engineers. Worley is a great place to expand your knowledge and work on interesting projects."
"I've worked at Worley for a brief period of time. The overall environment of this office has been a positive, team environment since day 1. I really enjoyed working for Worley and the business relationships developed."
"I've only worked with Worley for a year after the buyout of my former company Jacobs. In that time Worley management has made strides to put an upper management team together that is fair to the employees with compensation, workload and communication."
"A great company to work at. The fast paced projects introduce a lot of exciting challenges. I've met a lot of great people working at Worley. They have recently improved communications between locations and departments."
"A great company for which to work. I worked with them for 5 years when they were Jacobs and it was a great company then. It was an interesting project, although a temporary assignment. Plans were to continue as a direct employee, but that was unable to be accomplished, solely because of delayed projects due to Covid."
"The current largest company for Engineering Procurement and Construction Management services."
"Worley is a great place to work overall. However, I think that a transition is taking place under new ownership and dramatic changes may be forthcoming."
"huge company. hard to get a feel for how your department will be specifically. Especially if you're on a project location. they don't match 401k until after 1 year of employment. that sucks."
"I've worked with Worley/Jacobs for over 2 years and the company is great, but work is based on the volume of construction happening in the industry. Currently, not much work is available and the company has laid off multiple engineers including myself."
"I have worked with Worley since 2016. We serve the client in CAT B and CAT C type of projects as an EPCM contractor. Worley is a global international company with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and other 45 countries worldwide. My office is allocated in Baku Azerbaijan."
"I worked for Jacobs for over eight years before it was broken into separate divisions. It was a great place to work. New executive leadership was brought into the company and began to change the structure and with that they established new financial goals. In all this was a very healthy move but the company was not far enough into the transition before part of it (ECR division) was sold off to another competitor. Now the new company (Worley) is struggling to bring everything together. It will be a few years, with some significant rethinking of structure, before things are running smoothly."
"Prior to the merge with Jacobs ECR, and following a pandemic, I'd have probably rated them in a greater light. I don't think as a company they've been very transparent, and informative. I know business is business, but it's still not very admirable to attempt a show of empathy for the employees, while also taking clear measures designed to increase profit margins at the expense of employees."
