"Good growth opportunities for used-car salesmen and yes-men. Serious professionals would be better off elsewhere."
What don't you like about working at Erba Diagnostics?
"Top management has a culture of distrust, acts do not mirror words. They are steadily losing the talent (who have the product know-how), and constantly restrain employees from bringing the real issues to C-level. Only the sunny side is allowed to be presented. They have turned their first MiamI acquisition into an empty shell: downhill production, sales and service, and increasing production problems, material shortages, lack of technical staff to solve production/ quality issues and low overall employee morale. Their second acquisition is following same route."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Do what you preach, respect your employees, learn what motivation is, and use it. Respect American values (and labor laws). Put in place managers that know manufacturing, sales and service (instead of those that just talk about it, but neither know it nor surround themselves with staff that does)."

"NOTHING! No managers care about anyone but themselves. Apparently they also look down upon employees going to HR to report an issue."

"DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL FIRE YOU WHEN YOU WANT TO REPORT AN ISSUE INSTEAD OF DEALING WITH IT."

"Speaking with HR is frowned upon. Managers will throw their employees under the bus in a heartbeat to save themselves."

"Fire everyone in management and start over. They think they are untouchable."
