Research Analyst

"Even though I was just recently hired with this company, I am very satisfied with what the job entails which is to research a given question provided by the client company and provide a complete analysis of the findings while following a specific format used by the company. The hiring process is in two parts with the first assessment focusing on grammar and proofreading and the second on writing style and format. I found it fairly easy and if you do well you are then asked to do a sample research assignment. However, I got lucky and was able to skip the sample assignment and was hired immediately. The company has a good training session that you are paid for but I found the feedback on my mock research training assignment was minimal and apparently the graders are very diverse in how they assess and approve the task so it is hard to know what they are looking for. There is a chance to redo a draft but usually the draft is just not accepted at that point and no pay is given for the work. The pay is fair but each task takes approximately five to six hours. Overall, the mentors are very nice and supportive and it a good company for those looking for a research position but with a wide spectrum of topics."
