"The benefits will keep you around. The environment is toxic. After working at the foundation for an extended period of time and seeing good people come and go, it really is the benefits you get at the foundation that keeps you around. Favoritism plays a major role if you get selected for the few roles/promotions that open up once or twice every 4 years or so. It doesn't matter if you show initiative and go the extra mile, if you don't go to the Director's son's 12 birthday party and bring a big present, you're out of luck."
