The people I shared this journey with were intense, immensely talented, driven, and dedicated. It was truly an honor working with these were dynamic and talented individuals and although my peers and my direct supervisor were amazing, the company faced many significant and insurmountable challenges, and leadership at corporate headquarters was deficient and irresponsible. Although the core business was very strong, the company diversified too quickly and the business direction changed due to significant financial problems. A re-organization followed eliminating our entire division and the company divested multiple assets. As a result, I was laid off along with thousands of my coworkers."
