"Wework was a fast pace environment that was a great learning experience and gives designers the ability to experiment. The workplace was a stunning office in saleforce tower and the development team was a true family and support system."
"I joined WeWork in 2018 to help manage their hyper-growth and build programs to scale. It was far and away the most rewarding and fulfilling professional experience of my life. The amount of amazing people I met and collaborated with on a daily basis will be truly hard to match. The only negative was the lack of true leadership from the C-Suite which led to massive layoffs and lots of negative press. But I loved every minute of it."
"I have worked with WeWork for the past 2 years, almost. It was an amazing experience as you have your independence in your role with full support and backup from your leaders and managers. Tremendous culture and work ethics."
"I have worked at WeWork for three years. During this time, I have had the privilege of working with incredibly talented people who are leaders in their respective fields. The community aspect of this company is unlike anything I have experience, that coupled with flexibly and authorship over one's work make WeWork a great place to work, if the company can make it through these tumultuous times."
"I've been with WW for a year now and it's a never ending emotional rollercoaster of uncertainty. I love what I do and believe I perform well but it feels like none of that matters."
"Good culture with a healthy mix of start up atmosphere and corporate setting. It is a creative working environment with a young workforce."
"I truly loved working for Wework, I learned so many good things and how to work under severe pressure as well as how to have great communication skills when in the field."
"I enjoyed my time working at WeWork, until the inevitable collapse."
"WeWork has a great work culture and wonderful people. They are customer-centric to a fault."
"I joined WeWork in 2018 as an opportunity to try something completely new. I sought to reinvent myself and take a break from architecture. I felt that I was pigeon-holing myself and wanted to expand my horizons while also challenging as much as I could about myself. WeWork offered all of that. Before WeWork my pride came only from the projects I did. At this company, I learned to take pride in teamwork by joining a team of very talented men and women of all backgrounds who celebrate their individuality. WeWork has gone through some really rough months but at its heart are many of the people that made it such a great place to work and learn. They encouraged and supported independent thinking, innovation, emergent leadership, creativity, exploration, and the people I work with constantly bring their all to work every day. Even now, when our future with the company is as uncertain as ever my team continues to show up for work energized and focused. I have learned how to deal with change in a fast-paced environment. Change management and resilience to change can only be learned through experience. I challenge that even the best business schools in the world would have a difficult time showing their students just what it feels like to be part of a team that grows from 6 people to 50 people in a company that grew from 6000 to 11000 people in just one year, while also experiencing filing for IPO valued at $47B at the start, dropping the IPO, losing the CEO and one of its co-founders, almost running out of money, and then being acuired by another company that seems to have an endless amount of money-- all that in less than 2 years. I take pride in having been part of the WeWork adventure. It has been an emotional rollercoaster but, for me, I am coming stronger and better equipped to deal with a wide range of problems. Thanks to WeWork I have been able to reinvent myself as well as meet a lot of incredibly smart, hard-working people."
"It was an interesting experience"
"I worked at WeWork for one year. It was a very fast-paced environment that forced me to improve my organizational skills and prioritization. Upper management seems like they care about their employees. Laidback culture made the faced paced environment tolerable."
"Wework is a large company that will need some help building to the future."
"Young company, great teams. There is not a shortage of people who can get you the right answers. Watch for them in the future if you are a realtor or need some office space to rent."
"Amazingly fast paced company with rapid growth and a great vision. Ability to quickly grow within when delivering results."
