"My colleagues were wonderful and made the workday tolerable."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask lots of questions about turnover and about the supervision process. I worked there for nearly one year and never had a planned supervisory session. Every time I met with my supervisor, it was as a result of her having some concern about my performance (which were tremendously exaggerated and influenced by her personal dislike of my politics and personality.)"

What don't you like about working at Wentworth-Douglass Health System?

"The management is well aware of problems, but the bureaucracy and nepotism in the hospital gets in the way of any meaningful change."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Managers should be chosen based on their skill as managers, not on merit or seniority."
