1.7Don’t even bother with this company. They don’t care about employees in the slightest bit. The pay is consistently the lowest in the area. Management doesn’t do anything other than complain and play on their phones (but then complain when the staff do it). The store manager literally came in with Covid and spread it throughout various employees in the store. Management holds employees to standards that they can’t follow themselves and demands too much work out of them. There’s so many things that happen behind the scenes that this company could seriously get in big trouble for. It’s not worth working here one bit. It doesn’t matter how hard you work, you won’t get anything for it. Also, if they don’t like you for whatever reason, they won’t tell you why they’ll just come up with some reason and fire you and never tell you why. Just don’t even bother. The company probably doesn’t even read their employees reviews because they just don’t care.
1.3I’ve been working for Weis for a little over 2 months now as a produce associate. Applied for what I thought was a full time job, later found out it was part time and the pay for really low. Things started off ok, then 3 weeks into the job they decided I would be working nights alone. When asked management when their going to hire someone to help was told they stopped looking and I was it, management is very lazy. I was off for one day and they left everything for me from the night before. They have one store manager and as of now 4 assistant store managers. Avoid working for this company at all costs.
1.7I've worked for Weis Markets for a year and a half and it is an awful job. The management is terrible and they treat their employees with complete disrespect. They rarely actually work, only criticize everyone for how useless their work is, instead of providing a motivational, encouraging work environment. There is no way to grow in the company, they don't even hire full time employees. If you want a decent raise, work as hard as you can every day, and you'll still never get anything worth it.
