"That it was an educational institution."

"Watch your back."

What don't you like about working at Stanford University?

"Office intrigue, fighting. Getting rid of people with time for retirement. If your salary was going up they got rid of you."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Believe your people. And get rid of the verbal only communication rule. I had trouble with somebody who flat lied about what was going on was noncommunicative, didn't answer questions. My paper trail said the opposite of what they said happened. I don't trust Stanford."
