"Work environment and technology is very old and outdated. Management has a very 80's approach to everything which is what is holding the company back."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Really Sad Place to Work"

What do you like about working at Weber Packaging Solutions?

"The best thing about Weber is that they do have a good reputation in the field. People know the name. However now that there are only 13 people selling instead of the normal 40, they will probably sink quickly due to apathy."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do not work there unless it is your only choice. Even then I would not recommend it. You will be frustrated and upset the whole time because nobody will adapt."

What don't you like about working at Weber Packaging Solutions?

"The company is still using paper files when computers have been around for over 25 years now. The Management team have all been there 20+ years and are reluctant to go to electronic paperwork because they don't understand computers.Ordering system is still done with multiple redundant pieces of paper, printed, copied and distributed throughout the company. Ridiculous. In the day of smaller and faster equipment, the last equipment designs have been larger, heavier and slower than others in the same field. The 5300 weighs over 250 lbs, while a comparable unit from any one of the competitive companies is under 100 lbs.The unit is slow. Over engineered and not enough input from Product Management to Engineering to tell them what is really needed. The whole company is so reluctant to change that they get in their own way of making money. It's sad really."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get fresh blood. Get rid of the over 10 year crowd and bring in some good technologically advanced people."
