"Having worked for Wave Division Holdings (Wave Broadband, Astound Broadband) for over five (5) years, I would never recommend it as a decent employer. Technical workers at this company are not compensated well for any level of work, even when required to work in excess of their regular work week 10+ hours, in the middle of the night. There is no room for advancement, and if there is they will higher from outside at a higher pay scale. Expectations are high but benefits and morale are weak."

"I cannot recommend this company to any prospective employee. If you are good at what you do, working for this company will frustrate you to no end."

"The C level staff micro-manages constantly and you must mirror their management style to be perceived as successful even if you produce results."

"Learn how to manage by empowering the people you hire to do what you have hired them to do. Stop the micro-management. Get some training on how to be a better manager and leader."

"It is a great foot in the door for tech support, clock some time here and move along. Definitely a glass ceiling"

"nothing but micromanagement, suggestions go nowhere, problems with the way things work are noticed but are brushed off as just the way things are"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Actually listen to what the employees are telling you about what changes need to be made. Cut out all the micromanagement and fire some c-level management"
