What do you like about working at Cook Family Foods?

"I liked the people I worked, I got a lot of emotional reward when I helped some of my fellow employees. The company also offered many new technologies that my young mind was hungry for, and because of my dedication to these new technologies, I was able to quickly elevate and be promoted to newer positions."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"My advice to other prospects is for them to evaluate their abilities, their strengths and weaknesses, and find a job that would fit their conclusion of their evaluation. Companies spend a great deal of time and money to bring new people, and it would be a waste to the company, more qualified prospects if the new employee does not feel satisfied and decides to quit."

What don't you like about working at Cook Family Foods?

"Although the departments are big and there are many tasks, the day to day task were the same, the managers were giving the whole authority to solve problems and create solutions and ideas. Sometimes the employees had better ideas, but their ideas were discarded because of their position in the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"People have a tendency to be more productive when they feel like their opinions and ideas matter, managers are necessary to lead the group and solve the problems that they are giving, but they should not be authoritative and abusive. They should encourage the employees to apply their own ideas instead of getting approval from managers, since the employees are giving the tasks, they have a better understanding of the problems, and probably of the necessary solution to solve the problem."

"Respect your associates."
