"I’ve worked at Vyrian for going on three years. Never thought I would be in this industry, but glad I was recruited. It’s a good learning opportunity for those who enjoy working in teams and supporting interesting companies who buy the parts. I enjoy lab work and the advanced tools we use to spot bad suppliers. Feels good to be the line of defense."

"The company culture is great, we all enjoy each others company. You have access to the CEO almost 100% of the time and he is a great role model. The commission structure is fair and you are given warm leads in the beginning of your career to establish your account base. The only few cons is that we are a small business, so there can be rapid changes in response to industry and economic climate. Also, there is not much growth opportunities above Account Management."

"If I did not have to move away for personal reasons, I would still be working there. Treated me like family from the very first day. I would encourage anyone to try to get on if you can with them. If you have an entrepreneurial mindset you will love it. But if you want or need to sit in trainings all day long, you will be disappointed. They push you to get on the ground running fast and the skills and fire you bring will have to carry you. My advice to management - give the junior sales people more time to catch on to the business. Some good talented people can take a little more time to have it all click."

"I have been working at Vyrian for about 2 years. Great work environment and good pay. Centrally located so you can live pretty much anywhere in Houston and get here in less than 20-30 minutes. Employees are hardworking and everyone I know enjoys being here. They offer a health insurance plan that is free for employees. Downside is if you add someone else in your family the pricing is high and deductible is through the roof. Sadly, No 401 K offering at this time. PTO is 2 paid weeks which accrues from day 1. Holidays off. No set lunch period so it can be as long or short as you want. No trouble getting days off approved even during Christmas and other high requested times."

"One thing about these types of reviews is that it is always from some ex-employee who is usually mad at the world. At least 90% of the time, you are usually hearing from the company's most unsuccessful employees. So, I'm going to write as a current employee who is cool with company to balance this out. First, yes the company isn't perfect. Which company is? If you visit, you'll see that the atmosphere is extra friendly and it's not a suit/tie kinda group. If you want that kind of job, Vyrian is probably not for you. If you need 20 levels of managers, Vyrian isn't for you. If you don't work hard, Vyrian is not for you. If you can't think on your own, Vyrian is not for you. If you think just showing up is all it takes to be successful, you won't last here. Yes, it's a fun place to work. But it's still work. The people who don't last have trouble understanding that key point. Next, my coworkers are good hardworking people. There are some characters in the group. The CEO is probably unlike any other CEO I have met. He works and blends into the company so you can interview with him without even realizing it. They are really what make the company and that's always the case anywhere though. The location is very meh (Bissonnet and not the actual nice part of Bissonnet), but once you hit the 9th floor the view of Houston up there is amazing. I can even spot my house from way up. If you can get past "the hood" - it's smooth sailing. Makes for lots of jokes between us all. The building itself is secure (with security patrols) and Vyrian has its own separate alarms and cameras."

"This by far is a total unethical place to work. There are few good employees, most are family and friends. So if you want to work for a dysfunctional company, who allows employees to come to work drunk and drugs flowing around the office like candy, this is the place to work. It's actually a joke of a "company". " Beware if you are wanting to work for a good company that will train and help you grow this is NOT the place". Do not waste your time, do some research."

"Seriously, don't waste your time! Real lack of training. Fraught with nepotism. No true concern for their employees (other than their friends and family), or their development within the workplace. They hire just as fast as they fire."
