"I was part of the team that started the company so I enjoyed creating a company and its infrastructure from the ground up."

"I oversaw all technical operations including software development, network operations as well as our Network Operations Center and our technical support team."

"Showing a well rounded experience set is key. All senior management have finance backgrounds, so having any sort of financial background is helpful."
What don't you like about working at Pegasus Communications?
"Ultimately, the decision to leave was driving by feeling stale after being at the job for 7 years. I moved to the Los Angeles area for a job in a more business operations role, working for a much larger company."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest that they look for ways to keep the job fun for the employees. They often overlooked opportunities to keep it fun/fresh, which led to other departments high turnover, where I would go out my way to encourage employees to have fun and move internally to help keep it fresh and help them expand their skill sets."

"Individual needs to be very technical, even in the management positions. I personally performed Cisco CCM scripting changes and Active Directory maintenance."

"Very short technical staffing. Process and separation of duties requirements for PCI compliance not fully understood."

"Management was good. They know how to survive. They should actively gain more knowledge of the separation of duties impacts required by PCI compliance."
