"ITAA did not care to understand the organic nature of member development and building relationships with clients. Instead ITAA opted to keep merging more associations and get rid of the idea of growing membership dues altogether. The alternative to member companies paying dues was having and very large insurance company foot the bill with the understanding that all members companies would choose this particular insurance carrier. Membership recruitment, would also be driven by insurance."
