"Volvo in Ridgeville SC is a first in the US for Volvo. The workforce is very diverse with support staff from all over the world. Most of the workforce is working in automotive construction for the first time. They required much training which I was happy to provide. The current economic condition required some downsizing and temporary leaves to balance inventory against sales. New product is scheduled to begin production in the next 24 months."
