"Great culture, great coworkers, and great pay."
"I have worked at Vivint Solar as a sales consultant part time since Feb of 2018. My day job is as an electrical engineer and patent agent but I am a big advocate of renewable energy. In short the company is always improving and while facing growing pains, it has a heart in the right place and is working to do its best. One of the coolest places to work as management is pretty flat and your success is pretty directly proportional to your work ethic."
"I've worked for Vivint Solar for the last 8 months and I have done things that I have never done before. I am constantly trying to try something harder day to day. I am always looking for a new challenge. Something new to try. I am able to obtain new knowledge really well and grow from my mistakes. I like waking up early for work every day leaving feeling like I accomplished something that day. I am very aware and a good listener. I am also open for advice and help etc. I wan to prove that hard things that be done if you put forth the effort."
"Overall a good place to work. The benefits are much better than my last company, and the culture is as well. Making their employees happy is clearly important to them, and they do a lot more for their employees than other companies that I've worked for. I really like almost everyone on the team I work with - a very intelligent group of people who help you succeed. The company/product is very complex, and sometimes the systems aren't what we need to get the job, done, would be my only complaint."
"I have worked for my current employer for over 6 years now. Since the beginning my leadership skills took place in the site survey department becoming a crew lead until I eventually because a Corporate District SS Manager. Throughout the I have worked/helped on every position there is for this company; out in the field and in the office expanding my knowledge. I am now the Field Project Manager overseeing 3 teams and 30+ installs a week helping me reach new levels and understanding what really takes to be a leader and provide an positive customer experience."
"I haven't worked at Vivint Solar for long, but I have enjoyed my time there. Unfortunately, they appear to be phasing out the project they hired me for... otherwise, the company seems great: I like my coworkers, my boss, and the compensate fairly."
"While the work itself is demanding, the ability to control your own schedule, set and achieve your own goals, and generally push yourself to hit new heights is what makes this role rewarding. Compensation is solely based on your work ethic and desire to succeed. The managers want you to grow and make a smooth transition into the role and the team. Overall, while challenging, the job can be incredibly rewarding. The Orange County office is small enough to know everyone, ask for help when needed, and make a name for yourself if you are looking to climb the corporate ladder."
"Good company to work for. Proper structure and good upper management; however, management at a local level is poor. People are expected to not only do their job but do others as well. They are held accountable for that rather than for their actual job description."
"I have found the pay schedule to be unreliable."
