"Starting salary for LPN is $16.50 and there is no shift differentials or weekend differentials. You can make overtime, however it is getting diminished over the years. There is no merit increase or inflation salary adjustments. If you have been working for several years you feel stock, and you compensation is less over time. Most full time starting positions are usually $19 to $21. I believe that most of the staff including myself are underpaid, compared with upper management fat salaries."

"First let me say I took a three dollar and our drop and paid to be educated and taught the ways of the best nursing team ever in Brevard county Florida for two years I worked for $25 and hour and had the best orientation and education I could’ve gotten anywhere in hospice then I asked for a raise and I was given $29 an hour and then top management corporate everything changed micromanagement new team later all this came in the play many of my excellent coworkers left and win new nurses were brought on they pay them more than I was getting after three years And then when I found a job with another hospice and gave a notice to work out because they were going to pay me five dollars more I needed that to send my daughter to college the new clinical GM cut me off at the knees and said turn your stuff your phone your badge everything in right now you’re done and that’s how you get done at vitas after all my dedication and hard work I’m taking myself somewhere else to another family that likes me"
