Village Capital & Investment Employee

"I've worked for Village Capital for a month now, and overall its been a good learning experience. I did not have prior experience coming in to this job, but I have been able to learn a lot by doing the job. The company itself is decent, but the branch I work at has not yet been established so it isn't the best environment to work in. I am looking to leave this position because I have now worked for 30 days with no pay, and have not received the proper training I should have, and my responsibilities include doing only one task. I would like to have better training and work with a company that can provide opportunity for growth, and so far this company can not offer me that."

"I have worked at Village Capital & Investment since September of 2019. I am currently managing the sub-servicing relationship with one of the largest sub-servicing agents in the nation. Working with a large sub-servicer is very challenging and requires patience and positive collaboration. In a very short time period, I created a very stringent servicing oversight program which was immediately implemented. As a result, I have currently saved and increased cash flow by hundreds of thousands of dollars for my current employer. This success was to conduct a through review and pinpoint weaknesses that were impacting customer and the company's bottom-line. I am currently in the process of writing a white paper on my servicing oversight program."

"I've been working for Village Capital & Investment since 2014. Though the people are friendly, the environment is relaxed and some of the perks are great, the company is plagued by favoritism and high toxicity. Advancing within the company seems to be based on who can kiss butt the hardest or who the bosses like the most personally."
