"Be completely aware of risk and how it impacts the banking industry."
What don't you like about working at Chase?
"Matrix management as it involved employee disciplinary matters. Those thousands of miles away do not know the interpersonal complexities of an organization and need to trust their executive team to provide them with good and accurate information. Without good communication and trust a matrixed organization will not function efficiently."

"Hold managers accountable for their management practices, and then let them go to work."

"At ITAA no two days were the same, and lack of organizational structure meant tremendous opportunity for initiative."

"When lobbying for the tech industry, no matter how hard you work for the tech industry, they will always resent that a trade association is a necessity on some level"
What don't you like about working at Information Technology Association of America?
"ITAA was fractured internally by a feudal organizational structure that pitted internal divisions against each other and the CEO."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"They've taken some of them, merged with other trade associations and consolidated programs, cutting out destructive internal competition."

"Very innovative, creative, great people and product and intellectual property"

"caught in leapfrog competition from Google and board of directors didn't adjust fast enough"

"focus on vision, strategy and execution - do them all flawlessly"

"As a start up company we had many challenges and were succesful in terms of both sales growth and profits."

"You must be ready to get involved in more than your job. Team work is where its at with BH."

"As a smaller company we did not always have all of the resources we needed."

"Management needs to continue to follow in the beliefs it began with and it will continue to be succesful."

"In general, I loved working for Credit Suisse especially in the earlier days. My only reason for leaving was the fact the positions at the time when I was looking were not exciting."

"My suggestion is to be aggressive and self-promote and be confident."
What don't you like about working at Credit Suisse?
"The management changed almost every 3+ years and that means new direction. With this new management came new managers, hence hindering the promotion of internal staff."

"I wish they promoted more people from within, as the general consensus was it was easier to get promoted by leaving and going back then through the internal process."

"Diligence Review Services is known to be one of the best firms in California. We are considered experts in our field."

"My advice for others would be to have confidence, and be prepared to demonstrate why they should be hired."

"Small firms often do have the personnel or provide the resources required to allow adequate professional growth"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I am a primary component of the management team, and can only suggest a merger and/or continued joint ventures with other firms."
What do you like about working at BNY Mellon?
"Nothing, at this time. It's a daily struggle-clients are strapped, so they treat you as though you work for them and not with them. Management micromanages, but at the same time is totally disengaged."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"In our office, be aware that there is no room for career growth. This may not be the case for all of BNY Mellon, but it is the case for Pershing LLC. Pershing will actively stop you from taking other roles within the firm if it is inconvenient to them."
What don't you like about working at BNY Mellon?
"The management in our subsidiary is challenging to work for. There is little recognition for achievements, not high enough morale in the office and each day is a struggle when one works for management who does not seem to care about what makes you more efficient and more excited to work, day to day."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The CEO does a great job-but what do I know I'm not engaged on a meaningful level with the CEO. But in our office, I would work very hard to increase employee moral. Were constantly informed that we need to cut cost, which means no raises/bonuses. But what about compensation in other ways, ie making you feel valued, understanding how you need to be managed, treating you like an adult"

"The company had a history of making some bad financial choices which was driven by a board of directors and investors."

"The company was disolved in August, Advise would not be relevant."

"The customer base was limited to the federal government and subject to arbitrary, retroactive withholdings."

"Develop new product lines to eliminate dependency in the federal government."

"I like being busy and can handle pressure but I have been doing this for 10 years."

"If you are smart and you work hard you will make it."

"The hours are long and the stress is high. Too many people have been laid off and teams are too small. I have a long commute and a young child who I rarely see."

"I would not do anything different, this is a great company."
