4I've worked here for 10 years now. I have worked on several different projects involving several kinds of technologies from C# to C to C++. I've been able to work on embedded as well as app-layer applications. The work/life balance I've experienced has been wonderful. There's been much flexibility; I was even allowed to work remotely for a few years. Some of my coworkers have not been so lucky though. Some projects tend to overwork their employees. You have to navigate prudently the projects.
4Viasat is a great company that is open to everyone's opinions and the culture is amazing. Everyone makes you feel welcome and the relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to produce your best work. I have nothing but positive things to say about this company and would recommend it to anyone who lives in the greater San Diego area.
