"It promised stability but failed to deliver - Average longevity with the company more than 15 years, but newcomers are discarded after 1-3 years."

"Stay away, unless you are looking for an elephant cemetery."

What don't you like about working at Vertafore?

"It has a major disconnect between upper management and workers. It has a culture of avoidance (main guiding principle: ignorance is bliss, so if we don't acknowledge problems, they will go away) and completely fake (smile in the face, stab in the back)."

"Check how much of propaganda actually find application in the trenches."

"None at this time. Just be prepared and know the subject mater"

"Enough support for remote employees making it difficult to obtain answers on urgent items"

"Management would need to evaluate remote employees needs so they can run smoothly"

"Walk away- the job is simply not worth applying for . They don't pay well. Management is not trust worthy. You will worry the whole time you work there about job security."

What don't you like about working at Vertafore?

"The company is simply a micro managing company. They control all aspects of their employees time at work. For example, you have to account for any time out of your work chair (even in the bathroom). Training is random and scarce at best, however management does hold you accountable for not knowing the system but are unwilling to train. They use a NPS customer review system. If your no familiar with NPS look it up before you go to work for this company. Your fate and success is out of your hands with NPS and Vertafore. Customer reviews control your fate. On a scale of 0-10 (10 being the best) only 9/10 are beneficial. All others count against you."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Simply hold middle management to standards and make sure they are truthful with employees. Employees are scared to come to work for fear of losing their jobs due to unjust client reviews."

"Working with SQL, helping customers implement and resolve problems with the product that I support."

"The company is not as customer oriented as I believe they should be."

"Be more proactive about keeping customers better informed on issues that they need to be informed of. (issues that they need to know about in order to keep their servers running properly)"

"Good direct team and leadership from the Boulder, Colorado office. Good base pay."

"Avoid it unless you can get a remote sales position. Remote Agency, MGA, and Carrier sales are the only positions worth having."

"Poor culture, poor vision, poor senior leadership, lack of upward mobility."

"get a clear goal and stick with it, don't change your direction every other month."
