"I've worked for Vertafore for three years. They are a decent employer, offer some nice perks such as training and hackathons and such. Individual teams are great, departments have some silo issues. Otherwise, a decent place to work."

"It promised stability but failed to deliver - Average longevity with the company more than 15 years, but newcomers are discarded after 1-3 years."

"Stay away, unless you are looking for an elephant cemetery."

What don't you like about working at Vertafore?

"It has a major disconnect between upper management and workers. It has a culture of avoidance (main guiding principle: ignorance is bliss, so if we don't acknowledge problems, they will go away) and completely fake (smile in the face, stab in the back)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Check how much of propaganda actually find application in the trenches."
